How did this happen?

Paytm was hacked! How did it happen? This seems to be a question that is on everyone’s mind. Well, our team did some digging and discovered that someone by the name of Manish K. Purohit had logged into Paytm’s server using an administrator account to upload a modified version of their app, only days before Paytm’s new KYC policy came into effect. This new version posed as a genuine update, but in reality, was designed to steal all customer information upon activation.
